About Us
TCG Global, LLC is a quantitative research firm. We develop and operate systematic trading strategies, and we commit our own capital to them. Research is the product; trading is how it is measured.
Our work is empirical. Strategies are built from data, tested against explicit statistical standards, and retired when the evidence stops supporting them. The same discipline applies to a new idea and to a strategy that has traded for years.
We build our own technology. Research infrastructure, risk systems, and market connectivity are developed and maintained in-house, which keeps the distance between an idea and a live position short and keeps accountability inside the firm.
TCG Global, LLC is privately held. We participate on regulated electronic markets and act only as a principal, trading for the firm's own account.
Who We Are
We are a small team of researchers, engineers, and traders. The firm is led by people who have built and run systematic trading businesses before, and it is staffed by people who would rather be measured on results than on titles.
Backgrounds are deliberately mixed — quantitative research, statistics, software engineering, and market operations. Good ideas are argued on their merits, and the person closest to the evidence usually wins the argument regardless of seniority.
We stay small on purpose. A compact team shares context without ceremony, which is what allows research to move from a question to a tested answer quickly.
Careers
Few fields give you a harder problem and a faster answer. Markets grade your work continuously, in public, against well-resourced competitors who are trying to solve the same problem. If that appeals to you, this is a good place to work.
We hire researchers who can defend a result and engineers who care what happens in production. Prior trading experience is useful but not required; rigor, curiosity, and the willingness to be wrong in front of colleagues are.
We consider candidates completing or holding advanced degrees as well as experienced researchers and engineers from outside the industry.
